Can get a M12-II at a good price so am wondering if the 620w it offers will be enough:

Video Card: MSI GTX 1070
Motherboard: Asus STRIX z270e Gaming
CPU: i7 7700k
RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws V 2x4GB

Also included is one HDD, one SSD and some LED strips.

Oh lol. Fixed and thanks.

How did you come up with the number 450?

Rough estimation really.

You check the power consumption of the GTX 1070[Example here] = ~150 watts.

The i7-7700k runs at 91W TDP by default, so combined you've got 241W. Add about 80 watts for the rest of your system. = ~330W. Add overclocking which would increase power usage by 20-30 watts.

Peak power usage is likely to be below 350 watts, It's recommended to take a power supply with 100 watts of head room so It's not running near 85%+ stress loads all the time.

It tells you that 450 watts would already be fine. Extra head room can't be a bad thing though.
