Is a 700w PSU ok for my system

I put all my components together, i just want to no is a 700w PSU ok for my system, cause i dont no much a bout computers cuz this is my first build.

Components
-Intel Quad Core Q9550 (2.83)
-Asus P5Q Motherboard
- 2 - 1gb ram
-Geforce 9600GT
-640gb Hard Drive
-DVD Writer
-Thermaltake Soprano Mid-Tower Case

That would depend on the PSU.

You actually need far less wattage, as long as it's a quality power supply.

Also, depending on what you're doing, you may want to add 2 more GB of RAM. It would be especially useful under Vista.
