Solution
The Ryzen require modern AM4 motherboards. This is a very old, entry-level motherboard and you can only run AM3+ CPUs. What to upgrade your computer to involves knowing what computer you currently have, so you'll have to supply additional information.

On a very general level, you don't want to sink any money into an old AM3+ platform at this point. We're talking about a 2012 platform, so any performance upgrade would likely involve CPU/motherboard/RAM. Without knowing your GPU or your power supply, it's hard to say if any such upgrade is practical within your budget.
