Is a 7970 really woth it?

Hello, I'm picking between an ASUS 7970, 7950 and an 670, the prices are: 7970: £320, 670: £277 and 7950: £260. I'm wondering if the performance differences between these 3 cards justifies the cost.

My specs are: 3570 i5, 750W Thermaltake PSU and a B75M mobo wit 16 GB ram.

I intend to play: BF3, Hawken, Firefall, FC3 and several other fairly demanding games using this card.

I'm interested in stable, high fps on a 1080p full HD monitor.

Can you help me decide?

Also, I'm rather liking the Asus Direct CU2 cards, is there anything I should know about them?

Its worth it if you want to play the lastest games with high fidelity!, Crysis 3 for example can use more the 2GB Vram and is bandwdith hungry!

Yeah it is worth it, it has excellent multi-panel support, true DX 11.1 and tons of bandwidth. The 7970 gives you flexibility and options!
