Is a 960 2GB to a 1060 worth the upgrade?

I currently game at 1080p and want to be able to max things out. Doing some research, It looks like the 1060 would be a good card for 1080p, but I wanted some opinions before I purchase. Currently, I play games and a playable fps (40fps on good settings for rust) and want to be able to max games like that out. Also, would by i5-4460 bottleneck the card?

Depends your current build, but yes, GTX 1060 its a good upgrade.

An i5 4th generation will not bottleneck it.

At the moment no it is not. It will only be worth the upgrade in about 3-5 years, or if you play virtual reality.

I actually made this same exact upgrade about half a year ago. The difference is significant, but if you're low on money it's not worth it. In Rust on the 960 I got like 30-50fps on medium, with the 1060 I can max it out 60fps. If that difference is worth it to you, then go for it.
