[SOLVED] Is a CPU cooler for LGA 775 compatible with LGA 1155 CPU ?

So I have an Intel C91968-003 NIDEC CORP Socket 775 DC12V 0.42A cooler that I used for Intel Pentium Dual Core E5700 and I bought a used i3-2100 without a cooler, so I was wondering if my old CPU fan would fit in a 1155 socket motherboard and work with a 1155 CPU.
