Is a curved monitor good for gaming?

Is this a generally good monitor for gaming. Also since its a VA panel, how does it compare to IPS?

It's mostly a gimmick. Since I have used all sorts of curved displays, I will comment on this...

I hate the curve displays. I notice them regardless what distance, and regardless what size, only exception is a large projection screen, I'm sure it would be beneficial then...

VA produces deep blacks, no common defects, slightly poor viewing angles, though you'd have to get up and move away to notice that. I think it's a great choice.

The curve on that model however is so small, but you can definitely tell it's there. Curve offer zero benefit when it comes to everything in a monitor.
