Hello there, recently on a trip ive spent all my money on a i7-8700k and a gtx 1080 so i am planning to use the psu that i have at home which is a Corsair CX600M. Is it enough? or it will crush my components? Could it run a gtx1070?

I need help since this issue is burning my brain,
Thank you!!

Technically it is enough but its a very low quality unit that really shouldn't be used in gaming pc's. Gaming pc's put the psu under high load for long periods of time. Also there is little safety features built in so if it does fail the risk to the rest of your pc is much higher than a good quality unit with good safety features failing.

Personally I would not risk such nice components on that PSU.

Hey ,
Get a 80plus gold certification psu.
Like Corsair rm650x.

Don’t risk high end components on that psu.
