I recently purchased a Acer XB27!HU monitor from a big box store (a club store) for $599. It's brand new, has a 90-day return policy. So far, so good. No panel issues whatsoever. My only issu is the monitors control panel is a bit cumbersome. It's not a breeze between switching from gaming mode to everyday work mode. The monitor was a real bargain. It's selling everywhere else for $799. I was originally going to pick up an Asus PG279Q. It's my understanding that the Asus is much easier to operate and calibrate. I'm toying with the idea of returning the Acer and getting the Asus. Am I crazy? Should I just pocket the $200 and learn to live with the Acer. Thanks in advance for responding and I know I'm kind of whining about this and maybe should be grateful I got a bargain.
