Is a gtx 1060 gpu okay playing games at 80c

When play in game my gtx 1060 3gb gpu is running at 80c is that safe good or bad

That is a little high, but not unsafe. 70's is more common for an air cooled card under heavy load. I would download EVGA Precision X or MSI Afterbuner and set up a fan curve. That should bring your temps down a good bit.

Not to worry.
Graphics cards run hot, but they are designed to do so.
Graphics cards will pick about 80c as a target temperature and try to perform as best as they can keeping that temperature.
The best thing you can do is to see that the cards are supplied with plenty of fresh intake air.
