Is a gtx 1080 ti overkill for my system?

I currently have a i7 4790k and a gtx 950, I was wondering if I got a 1080 ti if it would be to overkill and not worth the money and I'm also wondering on getting a ssd for arma so it loads faster any suggestions on that to if someone could help me that would be great

1080 ti works great when I used it in my old 4770k system, moving up from the original gtx titan. You will see even more of a performance gain due to having a stronger cpu (less bottlenecking), and a worse gpu to begin with. Go for the largest single ssd you can get.

How much of an fps boost will I get compared to the titan than the 1080??

You should see a 130% performance increase (as in the 1080ti is 230% the performance of a gtx titan) with a 1080 ti. About a 100% performance increase with a normal 1080. Since you have a gtx 950, expect about a 200% performance increase if not more.
