Is a gtx1060 6gb able to run an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor at 60fps?

Depends on the game and settings. You can find benchmarks for whatever it is you are interested in online easily.

Personally, I suggest a GTX 1080. An AMD Vega will also do the job, however, it requires almost as much power from the wall as does a GTX 1080 Ti.

Unless your talking about not gaming then yeah it will be fine

If you have not made a purchase the newly released GTX 1070 Ti will do the job for you and is less expensive than a GTX 1080.
