is a gtx770 on a 450w psu safe?

I have recently upgraded my gt630 to a gtx770 and my question is will it run safely on a 450w psu for 2 days untill i get my new one the setup i have is as follows: i7 3770k, 12gb ram, 1 hdd, 1dvd drive and a gt 630(upgrading this to gtx770) so is it safe thanks for any help.

No, I'd say a good quality 650-700w PSU is what you need. It's a tad big but best to be safe.

Okay thanks for the help ill just wait until the new one arrives it is 650w so that should be good

You need a power supply with a rating of 434W on the +12V rail to stay below 80% load on the power supply.
You also need two PCI-E power connectors.
A really good 450W power supply like the Seasonic G 450 would be fine (not just for two days, but permanently although running at close to capacity).
Most 450W power supplies would not be ok.

I don't know if you have ordered your new supply yet, but if not choose quality.
A good quality 550W power supply would be perfect for this build.

I can't find a single review of this supply from a hardware review site.
It looks cheap and nasty.
No 80 plus rating.
No active PFC presumably. Who knows what "PFC ready" means.
