Is a i3 4170 good for a gtx 960?

I'm on a budget and found a pc for $300CAD and it was 8gb of ddr3 ram, an i3 4170 and a gtx 960 2gb i think. Is the cpu good enough for the 960? Or will it bottleneck. I'm talking about playing games like rainbow six, fortnite, csgo and other games similar to those.

My search doesn't bring up anything with a 4170 from the i5 line but I can see an i3-4170. This is also another reason to post your specs of the system being sold. Links often don't work so the listing should be a good place to start. Also mention the age of the PSU. You could invest on a newer platform with a little bit of more money added to your original budget.

yeah i meant an i3 processor not an i5 i fixed that tho. it's a pc that i'm buying from a guy and he only posted how much ram what cpu and what gpu. i emailed him for him to send the specs of the pc. he didn't respond yet but i'm not surprised cause i sent him an email around 12am. once he responds ill tell you what the specs are

Dual core? No. Trust me Ive been with i3 for 2 years now....
