Is a intel core i5 3470 compatible with an asus b150m motherboard?

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the intel core i5 3470 would fit the asus b150m and if not what cpu's would fit that motherboard.

i5 3470 is supporting LGA1155 socket. Your motherboard has 1151 socket, So your motherboard wont support that CPU.

b150 supports 6th generation cpu and with a bios update using a 6th gen can then support 7th gen

I3 6100, I5 6500, I7 6700

after bios update

G4560, I3 7100, I5 7500, I7 7700

I got the same motherboard, Asus b150m, paired with i3 7100 but it won't boot. Nothing on my screen except "no signal". Motherboard led on, so does CPU fan and chassis fan. Do u have any idea why? Is there any way to enter Bios in my situation?
