So i'm looking for laptop for school, and i think i found what i need, i've contacted the buyer and i'm ready to buy it , i can't buy a really good laptop as my budget is super low , This specific laptop has an intel i5 4200U and a NVIDIA 740M with 2 gb vram, it has 4gigs of DDR3L ram but i have a stick of 8gigs of DDR3L ram lying around, so all together it would be 12 gigs of ram, anyways i'm gonna be doing some light video editing (FULL HD BTW) at school, and taking lots of notes and stuff maybe play a game or two so i'm just wondering if this would be good enough to handle those stuff

AND LOTS OF WEB BROWSING

Cheers!!

Laptops can be picky about the ram that will work in them. Best case, it all works and you have 12 gB. Next, the 8GB will work, but not with the 4gb. Next, the 8gb doesn't work at all & you are stuck with 4gb.
It wouldn't be ideal for gaming, at the whole GT line aren't exactly powerful. However, using it only for light gaming and web browsing it would certainly be enough. Could you potentially tell us you budget?

It's $350 Australian dollars , and the person is selling this for $335

I have Acer aspire e1-572G with the same processor and HD8670M (which is a little bit less powerful than the 740M) and i play battlefield 3 at ~25-30 FPS on medium-high (up to 75 degrees celsius *without cooler pad*) which is fine for ULV (ultra low voltage) processor . So you can "play a game or two" on it . I hope this info be useful to you.
