So I'm deciding between the
Asus x99 - deluxe (has inbuilt wifi)
Asus x99 - pro (has inbuilt wifi)

Asrock X99 - Extreme4 (needs wifi adapter I think)

So what do I buy?? I dont think il be overclocking but future proofing aint bad i guess...

Is the wifi in a motherboard like the asus deluxe crap? or is it good that i wont need a seperate wifi adapter for

No, it's likely a broadcom BCM94360 which is good. Broadcomm tends to be much better than Intel as far as wifi speed and not dropping connections as far as the Mini pcie cards go.

I upgraded my included wifi card on my Asus because I wanted AC and OSX compatibility out of the box as well as windows drivers. My original card worked well too, but no 5 ghz or OSX native drivers.

The wifi is good on my BCM 9453 (little brother the the 60). I switched antennas to the black "slab" on mine from the crappy white antennas and it works fine considering I am in the basement and the router upstairs.

The wifi is good for wifi, of course it's not as good as ethernet, but I can game on it fine. Wireless N or AC is fine for gaming, a long way from the sucking of G.
