Is a mouse upgrade worth it?

Hello,
For the past year now I've been gaming on a random gaming mouse (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Upgraded-HAVIT-Adjustable-Multi-colours-Breathing/dp/B019W2MK54). A lot of my friends have been telling me it's worth an upgrade and I was thinking of buying the Logitech G502 spectrum but I am now having thoughts if I need a new mouse at all due to there being no problems with the mouse that I currently have.

You can borrow your friends mouse for few hours and try it. If there is no difference don't waste your money for now

The most important thing by mice is the ergonomy.
Ergonomy first, the rest is number 2.

G502, G602, MX Master, MX Master 2s and M705 are very comfortable.
If you have some cheap mouse, any of those will be a huge upgrade.
I would however try to look the new mouse in a store or borrow it first before buying.

If there's nothing wrong with your current mouse, ergonomically or otherwise, then why upgrade? The G502 gets plenty of praise but it's five times the price of your current mouse. Is it going to give you five times the performance?
