Is a nvidia geforce gtx 950 compatible with a ASUS h81m-d motherboard?

I recently got a new computer from Canada Computers and I was going to upgrade the graphics card to a Nvidia gtx 950 from my existing gtx 750 ti and I wanted to know if the gtx 950 is compatible with my motherboard the ASUS H81m-D.

PC specs
CPU- Intel i3 4160 @ 3.60mhz
GPU- ASUS GeForce GTX 750 TI OC
Mobo- ASUS H81m-D
HDD- Seagate 1TB Hard Drive
PSU- 500 watt
Case- Deep Cool Tessaract

It is compatible with your motherboard. However, it does need a 6 pin PCI-e power connector from your PSU. What is your PSU?

yes it does have a six pin connector and yes that is my card, my PSU is surprisingly the deep cool 500 watt powersupply that probably came with the case

OK. It will work. the PSU is plenty powerful enough, but I probably would not do it. The 950 is not enough better for the cost. This http://www.ncix.com/detail/gigabyte-r7-370-windforce-1015mhz-48-110238-1957.htm?affiliateid=7474144 has to be close to your budget and better.

That GTX 950 only needs 1 - 6 pin and a 380 watt power supply , your PSU shouldn't have an issue powering the low draw card in your system.

From what i read at your post and your spec it's looks like that there is no problem with that, your PSU doesn't have any issue for that card .
