Question Is a rx6900xt 2,8ghz or a rx6950xt better?

I'm very sorry for this but I forgot to add a crucial point. I was just too tired and forgot it. My rx6900xt is the "LC TOP" Edition from Asus, so its already at 2.5 ghz base, and I oced it easily to 2,8 ghz. That was pretty stupid of me to not mention it huh?

The rx6900xt I'm using actually costs 1300 ~ 1800€ brand new. It's the LC TOP edition from asus and its base clock is 2,5 ghz. Sorry I forgot to mention this..

No, that's the advertised game clock for the AMD Reference, but none of the advertised clocks matter unless something is seriously wrong, as just like the Nvidia cards, the boost algorithm will push higher than advertised on its own, overclocking itself further.

So tweaking it to 2,5 or even 2,8 would be way harder than with a 2,5 base clock 6900xt or?

OH, if only everything was decided solely by frequency, but it isn't...
Also, if I took that query to heart, then a RX 6700XT is faster than a RX 6900XT...

xx50XT is basically a better bin/refined xx00XT die.

if you already have the 6900xt, then it is 100% not worth getting a 6950.

almost nothing to gain, yet more money to spend.

time to just sit back and enjoy your pc, rather than second guessing it to death, spending money for the sake of spending money.
