Question Is a Ryzen 3 2300x Powerful enough for a Nvidia GTX 1660 Super?

I am about to get a new graphics card (Nvidia GTX 1660 Super) And don't know if my CPU is powerful enough to pair with the graphics card. The processor I currently have is a AMD Ryzen 3 2300x. Should I get a new processor or will that work with the graphics card I'm getting?

There is no idea CPU-to-GPU match. It's all a matter of:

• Monitor resolution
• Monitor refresh rate
• If the monitor has FreeSync, GSync, or neither
• What specific games you're playing

I have a gtx 1030 so I kinda need to replace the GPU but I dont know if the CPU is powerful enough for a gtx 1660.

There is no "is the CPU powerful enough for the GPU" question until the other factors I listed are taken into consideration.

Without knowing the things I listed, it's impossible to give you a good recommendation.
