I am planning on building a pc soon and I haven't decided what gpu I should get and I also don't want to spend to much on my gpu because I feel like I won't be needing a powerful gpu. This PC will be used for productivity, gaming, school work, web browsing, watching movies and video editing.

Without knowing the specific use case, it's impossible to say. At a glance, it would appear a poor balance of your components, but that might well suit your needs perfectly.

What do you mean by "productivity" and "gaming" specifically?

Depending on the application in the "productivity" space, a powerful GPU can be beneficial.

For gaming, a 1050TI is a solid 1080p medium-high settings card.

Depending on your priorities, it may be worth considering a Ryzen5 1600 (6core/12thread) and with the extra money saved, a stronger GPU - but it will all depend on your specific needs.
