[SOLVED] Is a sata splitter safe?

Hey, I was wondering if it's safe to use a sata splitter for power? I have the cx650m from corsair and I need more sata cables... I don't want to cause damage to my pc too... so... any suggestions that does not require changing my psu?

I have used similar splitters countless times without any issues.
