Is a score of 8596 a good 3dmark firestrike score?

That is a great score then, usually a GTX 970 and an 4690k usually hit around ~5000.

I believe it is the combined, its the score they give you on the chart, said 75% better than all results.

I believe it is the combined, its the score they give you on the chart, said 75% better than all results.

Combined score is the score on the left next to graphics and physics scores.
In the graph usually around ~9400 to ~10,000 is about average.

Looks alright. The other scores on the internet. Such as this one: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/3249641
Are a little higher most likely due to un-reported overclocks on their hardware. That was not picked up by 3dmark.

Graphics scores are close enough to be called a random error, but physics score is a little low. Most likely by anti-virus or another program hindering it, or the other score is overclocked quite high.

Thanks, I have malware bytes and Avira running in taskbar, no overclocks at all. So maybe I could do better?

You could push higher on overclocks, but that's only if you really want to see those scores.

Benchmarks are a good way to bench hardware performance, but the best way is if it performs well in what you want. Such as a game 😉
So it's up to you. Those scores are sometimes iffy at best.
