Question Is a tiny vertical yellow line on a 2012 Macbook Pro LCD a big problem (or just an eyesore)?

I just noticed the dreaded 1 pixel wide colored line on the LCD of a mid-2012 Macbook Pro 15" unibody that I bought two days ago for an upcoming trip. The line doesn't appear on external display and doesn't disappear when I restart/reinstall VRAM/start in safe mode/reinstall OSX so I believe the problem is most likely due to a faulty LCD that will not go away and most probably will slowly get worse, like a withering rose, then one day fail completely and die?

For now I can live and work with the slightly irritating but otherwise not too disturbing single line that has appeared on the LCD. But I bought the computer to use on a trip that will last 3-months and it will be quite a problem for me if the LCD deteriorates with more lines appearing or kicks the bucket while I am on the road before I get home later in the year.

So my question for anyone who may be familiar with this problem is, if for now I just ignore this line, will the LCD:

most likely continue to work same as it does now for quite some time (3 months)

most likely develop more lines, start to flicker or develop other problems very soon (next week?), sooner or later (next month) or far into the future (next year)

The reason I ask is that I have to decide very quickly if I need to scramble asap to get a replacement screen before my upcoming travel or most likely can continue to work with the computer "as is" for the next 3 moths on the road without a high risk that it will get worse and die?

What would you do if you were in my sneakers?
