is a used card worth buying? read description!

hi
i foud a used r9 fury at an 250 usd it has changed thermal paste and thermal pads

the problem is that it has been used for 2years so is it worth buying for 250 usd and how long will it survive if i buy it?

It's a bit of a gamble, but personally I've always had good luck with used cards. As long as you buy it from a reputable person it should be fine. The fact that the seller repasted and changed the thermal pads is a big plus. There's no telling how long the card will last, but if it's lasted two years there's a good chance its a solid card.

You should probably be able to find a gtx 980 for less than that...in my local market (Craigslist) I found multiple 980s and 980ti for $200-$250
