hello, im going to college soon and i need a very good computer its going to be around 3000 euro's and i want to use it for video editing and gaming, is video editing parts the same as gaming parts? my computer will have a quadro k4000 3gb and a geforce gtx 780 also with 3gb and a intel 4770k with hyper threading. i hope this is enough information!

Thx for the help.

those parts are great for gaming as well.

At the end of the day most PC's made for video editing will be good for gaming becuase:

Video editing requires more powerful CPU and GPU than gaming does therefore when using a video editing pc with high end GPU/CPU like these gaming performance will be good

Video editing PCs usually come with a big amount of RAM 8gb, 16gb or 32gb.

Video editing PCs often come with an SSD of some kind.

the 4770K processor is more than sufficient for both tasks. You could actually get away with the i5 4670k processor for gaming, but not for video editing.
for video games 8 GB of RAM would be suffice. 16 or 32 GB of ram is better for video editing although for the most part 32 GB would not be used.
A good solid state HDD with help both needs. Since your doing video editing I would suggest a bigger SSD somewhere around the 512 GB size.
as for the video card I don't see the need for both a Quadro k400 and a GTX 780. The Quadro is a rendering card, for CAD programs or the like, not really useful for either video editing for gaming. the GTX 780 is sufficient to play the latest games at a nice resolution and more than enough for any video editing you may need to do.
