Is a way to adjust the acceleration on the logitech G9x?

On the Logitech Gaming Software 8.4 that i am using there is only options to make profiles, adjust DPI sensitivity, report rate, and change the function of the buttons. no acceleration

go into windows own mouse control and uncheck enhance pointer precision.
http://www.hardcoreware.net/files/mouse_fix.reg you can also download and run this. it changes some reg values that disable acceleration completely.
seems to work with any mouse. make sure you reboot after you apply this fix.
you may also want to back up any reg values you change.

very interesting article.
for now i uncheck enhance pointer precision and it seems that the acceleration is gone complete. now i need to get use to it, play a few games etc

There's no way to get rid of the base 5% acceleration present in the G9x, to answer your question plainly.

yep if its actually built into the mouse hardware there is nothing you can do to turn it off other than ask logitech for a firmware update.
