Is A10-5800K good enough for MSI GTX 760? My old athlon x2 is bottleneck at 760

Solution
It would be a waste to buy a APU with a dedicated GPU. The 750k is the same thing without the A10's integrated graphics. If you don't want to buy a new motherboard (assuming your current one is FM2/FM2+) upgrading to an Athlon X4 750k would be a huge improvement over the Athlon X2 you have. If you have a FM2+ motherboard then the 860k would be ideal.

If you're willing to spend more you could switch to Intel and pick up a new i3/i5 and matching motherboard, however this will be expensive as it's likely you'll need a new OS as well.
