Is A780L3B motherboard compatable with AMD FX-8120

I basically want to upgrade my current CPU (a 3-core athlon 2) to something better so I lag less streaming/recording games. I was looking at the FX-8120 and it says it's a AM3+ socket, and I wanted to know if that would work with my current motherboard (A780L3B biostar). It specifically says phenom 2 and athlon 2 work with it, but are those the ONLY CPU's that work with it?

No it wont as an am3+ fx prcessor is only compatible with an am3+ board so u have to get a new boar too

Mj even if it is 95 tdp board but amd am3+ prcessors are not backward compatible to an am3 socket so the basic issue is d socket i think???
