Hello everyone !
I am in need of upgrading my RAM to 16 GB. Currently the RAM I am using is 4 GB. The complete specifications of my Laptop are as under.
This site shows a complete description of Laptop specifications. https://www.paklap.pk/hp-15-ac137ne.html

Manufacturer : HP
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4005 CPU @ 1.70 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM) : 4GB
System Type : 64 bit operating system, x-64 based processor

I am not much aware of the compatibility of hardware. Can my motherboard support 16 GB RAM?

Any help is much appreciated.
Best Regards,

I Would speak to the company you got the laptop from and ask what and how much Ram you can install into the laptop and Installing Ram into A laptop is never Easy so do be careful.

Wish I could be more helpful but I Could not find anything online and with google Better off with speaking to the company and finding the make/Model of the motherboard to see what it can handle Ram is a pain.

i'd like to back things up a lot - you NEED 16G of ram? you have 4G now, and you know for a fact that you need 16G suddenly? on that laptop? what are you doing on it that is so intense that you need FOUR TIMES as much ram as you have now?

also, open the back - do you see one spot for a ram module, or two? how many are being used now? if there's only one slot total, then it'll be hard finding a single 16G stick to put in there.

I was doing mega pixel image processing , so I think I might need that amount of RAM, because the program throws memory error.
@Shad2466. Yes, that can be a solution to my problem

Thank you for the answers.
