Is AHCI properly enabled?

Hi, I just got a bit worried after reading this guide http://superuser.com/questions/757936/check-if-my-ssd-in-runing-on-ahci-mode-inside-windows-7

In bios AHCI is enabled, and when I do the AHCI check in regedit it is set to "0". But when I look in device manager as the guide says I cannot find it saying AHCI in the driver

AHCI is enabled, but you need to install a driver for it. Go to your motherboard's website and look for the AHCI driver.

That would be the all-in-1 right, btw how are you sure its enabled?

Because its enabled in the BIOS. If the drive was configured as an IDE rather than AHCI, it would not be enabled. But because it is, its enabled. Windows probably just hasn't been able to get the driver for it.

AS SSD and when I check in device manager says im on amd_sata, how the heck do I get to ahci then I have all those drivers

You need to download the AHCI driver. If it still doesn't work, I'd suggest reinstalling Windows.

I found out that it was installed amd_sata.sys is amd's ahci driver. And i have already installed all the drivers from the website so cant do it differently
