I've had this PC for almost a year, and i've had maybe 5 crashes (which i don't know why).
I thought maybe the Components were overheating, but looking at AI suite 3's thermal radar, that can't be it, as it says that the heat of the Components are really low.
I have an intel core i5 4670k, an amd radeon hd 7970, asus sabertooth z87, and a fractal design r4.
I have not bought any after market coolers and i'm only using the Stock ones.
When i'm just using the computer to Write a Word document or browsing the net, the temps go from from about 20 - 30 degreees celsius With sata6G having the highest temp of 27 degrees. When i'm playing a game and i alt+tab to quickly look at the temps, i don't think i've ever seen a Component go over 50 degrees, which i think is weird because i've heard so many times that Peoples Components often reaches 80 degrees under stress.
Is AI suite 3 displaying the wrong trmperature of my components and giving me the wrong information?

Solution
Well as far as I know, AI Suite 3 uses all the little sensors that asus installed on the motherboard for temps. A lot of people on here swear by HWMonitor and I'm sure there's a few more. I personally use Speccy by Piriform for my second opinions along side my AI Suite 3. I think your temps seem to be normal. One thing you've got to remember is the people that are pulling 80 degree temps are playing a lot of super high end games with max settings and well beyond HD mark. I've got an i7 4770k that I'm running at 4.3 GHz that was overclock solely by AI Suite, my temps never go above 35 at idle. When I'm playing World of Warcraft or Minecraft, I see 50 degree temps. I'm also still running the Intel stock cooler, but in a HAF 932 Advance...

Another thing to remember, AI Suite uses live temps, where as a lot of temp reading software will show an average temp rather than the temp that moment. According to ASUS reps, if AI Suite 3 is giving improper temps, then your motherboard has bad sensors.

Solution
Also if you're running 2 temp programs at once, you'll get false readings as they sort of confuse each other. If you're looking to check with something else, make sure you close AI Suite completely first, or as the ASUS forums said, uninstalled with their AI Suite cleaner, then run the other temp program(s), then reinstall AI Suite.
