The 9800 is the successor to the 9700 series. It is essentially the same as
the 9700 but with a refined VPU, and faster memory. The prices on the 9800
cards are dropping and you may be able to get a really good deal on a 9700
somewhere, but generally the latter cards are no longer in retail stores.
