i mean, i'm building a cheap pc, bought a mobo with fm2+ socket, so i listed a6 7400k. It is good for non demanding tasks like playing league of legends or watching videos?, how good is it compared to a6 6400k.
i will pair it with 2x4gb ram dual channel.

by 900p you are talking about resolution? well, actually i run lol on a very crap pc, it's a pentium dual core 3.0 ghz(pretty old)
with a gt210(cheapest card ever) and only 2gb of ram, medium set graphics without shadows, it runs between 20 and 30 fps, pretty decent assuming this pc is almost 13 years old. Found that processor in amazon and it looks convincing, thanks for the reply

Here's mine:
Motherboard - MSi A68HM-E33 V2
Processor: AMD A6-7400K
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB DDR5
RAM: 8GB + 4GB DDR3

I run my PC at 1080p and it can play most games at 60fps. (Except the real heavy games like GTA V, WWE 2K, NBA 2K)

Here are my games:
Tekken 7 - High settings 45-60fps depends on the stages.
Naruto Storm 4 - High Settings 60fps
Dragonball Xenoverse 2 - High Settings 60fps
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round - Ultra Settings 60fps
CSGO - High Settings 60fps
Far Cry Primal - Medium To High Settings Custom 45-60fps
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite - High Settings 60fps
One Piece Burning Blood - High Settings 60fps.

Most fighting games runs smooth.

I wanted to uprade so I can play heavy games but dont have the budget for a new motherboard that supports ddr4 ram. So I'll stay with my FM2 Motherboard and just buy a new processor. Does upgrading to AMD A10 processor a big leap from A6-7400K or it's just the same?

A Athlon 760K,860K,870K,880K are about the only FM2+ CPU's worth investing in if you have a GPU, they will run used/new around $50-$80. The 760K you can find for around $30.

Any of those O.C to around 4.5ghz games about the best you can get out of that socket.
