Hi i was just wondering if these parts were compatible. I have an AMD FX-6300 black edition 3.5 ghz, and an M5A 78L-M LX PLUS mobo.

That RAM would work just fine in your motherboard. Nice choice on the Ripjaws X by the way
Note that it will only run at 1333 without an OC

Also, are you running a 64 bit version of Windows? Otherwise you won't get the full benefit.

If you can afford it, the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 would be a better option. Newer chipset, which means it'll support 1600MHz straight out of the box, along with having some USB3 ports (among other goodies).

No it'll run, albeit a bit slower (though not much a drama, really), unless of course you go into the BIOS and manually overclock it.
