Is AMD Phenom II X6 1100t Black Edition best for gaming?

Hey Tom's, i am a PC Gamer and looking forward to replace my AMD Athlon II X2 250 processor with a Phenom II X6 1100t. My specs are

CPU: Athlon II X2 250
GPU: Radeon R9 270X 2GB
RAM: 8 GB
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS M4N68T-M LE V2

My motherboard is AM3 so i can't upgrade to AMD FX or Intel and i have no budget for a new one too,so is phenom x6 1100t best or suggest me something better.

Mainly can i play games like Watchdogs 2 and Battlefield 1 with a decent Fps after this upgrade?

And the phenom x6 1100t which i decided to buy is a used one.

The 1100T is the best CPU available on AM3 and would be a big step up over your current CPU. It is getting quite old now though, so it probably wouldn't offer you the greatest performance in Battlefield 1 or Watch Dogs 2. You'll get playable framerates but don't expect a solid 60FPS. Your GPU is also getting dated as well, so that might also be a limiting factor.

Overclocking could help in this situation all Phenom CPU'S are unlocked so you can increase performance the R6 270X 2gb should be ok for the time being
