I will be using it for aftereffects and blender and video editing, 2d/3d animation, Photoshop, some gaming and programing.

My proposed plan for the build

Ryzen 7 2700
Gigabyte B450 AORUS M
Sapphire rx 590 8gb pulse
8gb ddr4 3000mhz ram
Gigabyte GP-PB500 500W
Samsung 860 evo 500gb
WD Blue 1tb 7200rpm

Help is very appreciated.

I don't know exactly what 2d/3d animation involves, but for the rest of your workloads, the 2700 should be good.

However, that 8GB of RAM is just, not gonna work man. For that type of workload, you'll want 32GB of RAM.

Yes there is Virtualisation...
its Very powerfull then i5 9400
amd 2700 have 8 core 16 threads but i5 9400F has 6 core 6 thread only
But U really need 16gb or 32 gb Ram
and Always go for Dual Channel Raam like 2x8gb or 2x16gb with at least 3000mhz or 3200mhz

So, i get "gains" only , i wont lose anything right? i have decide to go for 16gb ram dual channel
