Question Is AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D a good match for AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT?

I'm thinking about getting a better CPU for a GPU that I just got. Is 5800X3D a good match for 6950 XT? And if it is, what MOBO would you recommend for it? I'm not looking for anything fancy. Something quality, but without a lot of extra features. The main requirement is that it would support the new CPU and my SSD (Samsung 980 PRO SSD PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2).
