Is AMD the same as XFX?

is the xfx radeon hd 7970 the same as the amd radeon hd 7970 the same? Because the xfx is on scan.co.uk for cheaper than the amd on amazon and the xfx on scan comes with 2 free games.

Well, yes and no. Yes, because they are both based on the same piece of silicon that is a graphics card, which in this case is the radeon hd 7970. No, because the xfx is taken by xfx and they say "Hmmmmmm what cooler can we put on this card?" and they put their own cooling solution on. So, they will both have the same performance, unless you are looking at their temps.

Ok so I might as well get the xfx one because its got two free games.

Well they make the same product.
That XFX will work the same as the amd one.

It works like this,

AMD develops the GPU's and give them to the manufacturers like XFX, SVGA, MSI, Sapphire etc..

Then they make and sell them.
