The US prices do not include state sales taxes (7% more in my state).

Many buyers shop out of state and do not pay the sales tax if the seller has no location in the buyer's state.

I'm lucky. I'm able to buy some of my stuff for educational purposes. My crewe of middle School students are building my computer and designing their own before and after school.

There are over 300 million people here, so the market is large with low transport costs.

Amazon may or may not include taxes, depending on exactly where one lives. Also, any customs fees would not be included.
And yes, things are frequently cheaper in the US.

If you see a big price drop in something at New Egg, you can be sure Amazon has it on sale.

Maybe. The difference between your payment and the shipping address may raise some flags.
Then there is the potential customs/tax issue when he mails it to you. You are probably still liable for that if applicable.

If your shipping to another country you may have to declare the value and pay custom fees on arrival plus mail service is hard to track and is limited on the insurance coverage if it is lost or stolen. It may be better to ship it Fed Ex but that will be much more expensive.
