I'm nearly going to build my pc but all I need is to buy the case and was wondering if the NZXT H440 will provide sufficient airflow for my pc. For now I'm staying with the stock cooler but in the future I'm going to get a water cooler. Suggestions for other cases (if this one isn't suitable) would help.

Specifications:
-CPU: AMD FX8320
-MOBO: M5a99x evo r2.0
-SSD: Corsair force ls
-HDD: Seagate barricuda
-RAM: Kingston hyperx beast 1600mhz
-DVD: Lite-on 24x
-GPU: Sapphire radeon r9 280
-PSU: Corsair CX600M

Note: I am a fist time builder so i have no experience with cooling and would really appreciate it if someone helps! :)

Thanks.

Again, I've had no issues with my case and I play anything from WoW to H1Z1 to BF4. I haven't gotten the chance to get Star Citizen installed on this build yet but will in a near future. The vents are on one side for the top and the front panel. If you are looking at the case head on from the front, the front panel vents are on the right side, and the top panel vents are on the left. There is still plenty of vent on the back of the case, so exhaust shouldn't be an issue in the least. I honestly think the case is fine. Monitor the temps and if you still feel itchy, switch out the stock fans to some higher AF ones.

Under load my GPU peaked at 70*C, but the cooling fans don't kick on until it hits like 60*C. My CPU idles around 30*C and...
There are some cases with better airflow, however I my like H440. You can check it out via my sig, but I like the look of the case a lot and don't have any issues with temps. I have the CPU liquid cooled, and while I keep my rig in a cool basement, I've had no complaints about temps. Behind the motherboard was a little snug trying to tidy up the cables how I wanted, but past that I have no complaints and love it. The stock fans that come with the case are actually pretty decent, and while I replaced the case fans, the cooler (also NZXT) has the stock fans on it still, yet are the same fans that come with the case. There are 3 front fans and 1 rear fan, so nothing on the top to start. You can look into getting 1-2 fans to install for more exhaust flow, but I don't think it's 100% necessary.

The big perk to me was how quiet the case is. It has sound dampening foam on the panels (side, front, top) and I have to say, the biggest improvement over my last build (gpu aside) was how quiet this thing runs. I used to be able to hear it from across the basement but now, it's 2 feet away from me and I have to look at the LEDs to make sure it's still on.

I'm worried that the case doesn't have enough intake/exhaust as there doesn't seem to be a lot in pictures of it.

I haven't had any problems running, I've had no random shut downs, and I've seen enough builds using them that I can say airflow isn't an issue to have to fear for the safety of your parts. There are other cases out there with better airflow than this one, but choosing this case will not render your hard earned parts dead by lack of air flow. =)
