[SOLVED] Is an RTX 2060, and i5 8400 good enough for 1440p 144hz gaming?

I have found a decent 2k IPS panel, and I do not plan to play every game at ultra. I only really set a game ultra if it is a singleplayer game, and I set everything to low if it's a competitive multiplayer game. What do you think?

Depending on the games you play, you may get away with 1440p144hz. Although I don't think the list of games will be generous. Try opting for the 2060 Super BTW, it's quite worth it in my opinion.

You may also want to look into getting the Ryzen 5 3600 instead of the i5 8400. Since the cooler is included, you may even be able to get the 3600X.

Also, I noticed you didn't pick up an SSD. I would highly recommend this to install windows and your programs on it and then install the games on the HDD. Try and pick up a 240Gb SSD or even a 120Gb - it changes the whole PC experience.
