Is an SSD worth it?

Hi, I just saw some cheap 120 gb ssd disks and i'm considering getting one, i currently have a 500 gb hdd, and if i buy an ssd, what do i do to get my pc too boot up faster? what should i move to the ssd, and also if i move a game to an ssd will it open faster and maybe perform a little better? thanks

All 3 of my major systems have an SSD as the OS/boot drive.
My main PC is SSD only, except for a large HDD for backups.

I would not go back.

Now:
What are these 'cheap 120 gb ssd drives' ?
What would you be using it for?

it is a Kingston 120gb sata3 2,5 hyperx fury, i will use it for booting my pc faster and putting main games and apps in there, and the rest in the hdd. thanks

OK.
But for a 120GB drive, you will not be able to fit too many newer games on it.
OS and applications, yes. Games, maybe 1 or 2.

You can load up webpage ads a little faster. Not a huge diff, mostly you get to shave off some loading Windows time
