Question Is anyone having issues with the z590 motherboards as far getting the motherboard post?

My father changed from i7 11700F to 11900K and now the asus z590 strix-e motherboard will not boot. But if it puits the 11700F back in it boots up fine

Explain how you 'know' this to be the case?

Have you tested the other CPU in another motherboard and know it to be working?

What is the make/model of the motherboard, and what is the bios level?
Possibly, you need a bios update.

Past that, it is very rare for an intel processor to fail.
Was this a new i9-11900K?
If it was used, it could have been damaged by overclocking binning tests
It should still be under warranty, from Intel.

asus z590 strix-e, from the first post.

There is only one BIOS on the support page, and all the supported 10/11 gen CPU are of the same revision for compatibility.

because the cpu is bought brand new from newegg.com. He's already had two motherboards. I can't see two board the exact same thing.
