Is anyone still using the i7 930?

For years I have been using my i7 930 from four years ago. And I am thinking this is the year to upgrade my pc since the new gta v is coming soon.

Could I get by if I would overclock my i7 930 and get a Gtx 970?

I still have the Gtx 460. I am planning on at least upgrading to 12 gb of ram and a Gtx 970 or 960 when it comes out.

Yea the 970/960 would be perfect for gaming* and would last awhile. How much RAM do you have now?

Oh ok. 8gb or above is plenty nowadays.
