I vote "no".
Primarily on the basis that you should be in control of your system with respect to device configuration.
May require some extra effort/learning on your part plus a few more steps to do things but at least you (hopefully) know what is being done and why.
And actually not that hard with a bit a care and forethought.
Automation, syncing, etc. often goes astray because so many factors can and do change.
Many such tools will blindly do things regardless of other changes that occurred - with or without even accounting for such changes.
My thought: Device configuration - DIY.
