is asus m5a97 LE r2.0 a good motherboard for my computer?

first off im not planning on overclocking, as i heard thats an issue for this mobo. also, i dont know what vrms are, but i heard it lacks heatsinks for vrms. when is this a bad thing?

i plan on getting the following"
cpu: amd fx 6300
gpu: amd r7 265
ram: patriot viper xtreme 8Gb
case: cooler master elite 430
psu: dont know yet

if anyone has been using this particular mobo, please let me know what you think, and how long you have had it!

I have not had an issue with this motherboard in the past. The VRM help deliver power to the processor which makes this board bad for overclocking. It should work fine. This board will NOT support a second graphics card for crossfire in the future though if you ever plan on doing that do not get this board.

It has a poor thermal design get the UD3P made by Gigabyte.

I have not had an issue with this motherboard in the past. The VRM help deliver power to the processor which makes this board bad for overclocking. It should work fine. This board will NOT support a second graphics card for crossfire in the future though if you ever plan on doing that do not get this board.

also, im not planning on getting a second gpu so this doesn't really matter, but i want to still ask, i found one that said "crossfire ready" does this mean that this particular board will be able to have 2 gpus?

oh actually i remember now, im not lying this time lol.
During my efforts to create such a thread (in which I attempted to use the "ask the community" on the side), I realized my computer was being quite bizarre, taking a considerable amount of time to load. Unsure of its submission, I thought it best to to copy and paste it in a new thread.

I have had it for about a year. The motherboard will technically support two graphics cards. But due to one being x16 and the other being x4 there will be serious FPS and stuttering issues. It is not recommended to crossfire on these boards.

i also heard that this motherboard can't connect to the front usb 3.0 ports on cases. Im pretty sure this isn't true, but I still want to confirm; is it true or not?
and to help me better understand this stuff in the future, what kind of cable would be needed to connect those ports to the motherboard?

The board does have a USB 3 header. If you read that on a review somewhere this board came out around the time that USB 3 was introduced. It could of been a reviewer that really didn't understand how the new USB 3 headers worked on the motherboard. The USB 3 header will definitely work if your case supports it.
