Can someone please tell me is an Asus Geforce 210 1 GB DDR3 graphics card compatible with a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L motherboard.

Yes, any PCIe GPU will work just fine in your motherboard.

If it does have PCI-E 16 then it is.

Yet Geforce 210 has incompatibility problems with older games or even VERY old games, like several GOG games from 1999 - 2004, will stutter.

Another problem is, that when you start to have those incompatibility problems, there are no patches and you won't get any sensible help from forums as well.
