Is Asus Nvidia GTX 970 directx 12 supported? I found a link it says it is 11.2 supported.. why??

Is Asus Nvidia GTX 970 directx 12 supported? because I found this image who use this card.. If anyone have this Asus gtx970 card. please share a image.

The 900 series cards were the first cards by Nvidia to support DX12. So yes, but ultimately it won't make much difference until we see more games actually release on DX12.

actually even kepler have support for DX12. but DX12 does not mean better or faster than DX11. with DX12 more optimization are given to developer instead of driver. and this is where the problem lies.

I am asking because I am in tight budget. i don't want that I buy this & 1 year later direcx 12 come & my card don't support it. If you see my link that i attach it shows it is 11.2 that why am asking... thank you for you answers

because directx 12 came with windows 10. and windows 10 didn't came out till fall of 2015

So, you are saying if anyone buys directx 12 supported graphic card & he is using window 8 or 7 then it shows directx support=11.2 & if that preson use windows 10 then his pc shows directx support= 12. Is that you are saying?

Yup.

thank you so much.. Normally all the card that have directx 12 it write in the box or in specification. but i didn't find it in gtx970 card.

The spec for 970 is for the chip, product image show the custom cooler.
